The George – The Building

The George in Hatherleigh is a stunning new build; rebuilt in 2010 after a fire gutted the original. However it maintains an old world charm despite it’s 21st century credentials, with it’s thatched roof, wooden beams and its commanding position at the top of the town.

Marianne is especially excited about the accommodation she is able to offer at The George. Each of the 11 hotel bedrooms is en-suite, comfortable and tastefully decorated.

The George is going to be concentrating on providing high quality food to regular customers and visitors alike. There will also be themed food nights such as curry nights, fish and chips nights etc.

The Kenyon children have even created the children’s menu – something exciting and appealing to youngsters devised by the very people themselves.
